Recent joinery setting out projects Case study 1 - Holland Park, London W14 MSC Joinery Design were approached by an interior design client to initially set out the staircase for a subterranean extension a property in West London.The staircase was being made in Indonesia and our client needed the staircase set out to current UK building regulations. The client was very pleased with the drawings that we produced and also in our expertise and ability to work with, and coordinate with other contractors. We were then further contracted to set out the rest of the joinery on the project. These other areas include internal wall panelling, doors, vanity units and the relaxing area and Dais. Case study 2 - Ropes and Gray LLP law firm, London MSC Joinery Design worked with an Essex based joinery company to complete the setting out for the reception desk on this project. The reception desk is made almost entirely from oak veneered MDF with a floating glass top. Other setting out on this project included laminate wall to tea point surround, coat cupboards and doorsets. This company is one that MSC Joinery Design has worked for on various projects and they have always been pleased with the way we can set out efficiently and value engineer joinery to keep the project on budget. Case study 3 - Private residence Mayfair, London MSC Joinery Design were contracted by a large Essex based shopfitting and joinery company to carry out a full site survey and produce all setting out for the joinery within the study area on this project. We made the site visit and surveyed the room using the latest technology fir measuring technology. Upon complettion of the site survey we set out all joinery items including cupboards for the audio visual equipment along with desks and storage space.
